Heya, I’m studying Philosophy of Data and Digital Society at TiU after having finished my bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering at TU/e. I’m a generalist at heart who’s fundamentally driven by a desire to understand how this endlessly fascinating and complex world of ours works, and how we can use this understanding to make the world we pass on a better place. I occasionally do windsurfing and am trying to teach myself to play the piano with questionable success.

Hello! I finished my studies two academic years ago, at Maastricht University - econometrics and operations research, and in between I also studied systems biology. Although I encountered EA there long ago, since almost two years now I have been diving more intensely into it. I also try to write. Since the corona pandemic I moved nearby to Breda, and now co-founded EA Tilburg! My EA interests are longterm attitude change for animal welfare, global priorities research or simply “ethics”, and anything that helps make us more effective in our battle against entropy. I look forward to meet you and explore EA ideas further together.

Hey! I’m a BSc Entrepreneurship & Business Innovation student at Tilburg University, seeking to use entrepreneurship for good. My passion lies in climate change mitigation and sustainability. I’m driven by a vision of a future in which people can live peacefully with nature, and each other.
I love skate- and snowboarding, reading, and playing the occasional game of chess. I’m always open to connect!

Call for new organizers

We are very ambitious about our plans for 2024, which are all aimed at helping students figure out how they can use their careers to best improve the world. We want to launch different subgroups, organize inspiring events, and collaborate with other groups on the TiU Campus and beyond.

This is why we are looking for new organizers to help strengthen our team.

There are many ways for people to help out, from organizing one-time events or running a subgroup, to becoming a board member and working on the overall strategy of the group.

If you think you might be interested in joining our team, please reach out. Even if you aren't sure whether this is something you'd want to do, we'd be excited to have a chat. We are open to discussing many types of possibilities and look forward to hearing from you!
